Terms and Conditions 2012

This hire agreement relates to the person, persons, or company hiring the goods, referred to as “the hirer” and My Little Beauty.

This agreement is for the hiring of goods between the hirer and My Little beauty.

Placing an order with us verbally, via e-mail, or by phone, or any other method of communication constitutes you having read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

Please read this document carefully. Upon entering into this agreement, you the hirer agree to be bound by the terms within.

General Terms and Conditions

All goods within My Little Beauty remain the property of My Little Beauty at all times during the hire period.

Access

All bookings are subject to acceptable access for the trailer and the pick-up truck. The hirer must inform us of any difficulties regarding access at the time of booking. It is also advisable to inform us of any road closures or diversions that may restrict access to your venue or delay our arrival. Whilst we will endeavour to site the trailer where the hirer requests it, we are bound by traffic restrictions and therefore cannot block access to other private property or park in any restricted areas. If access is unsuitable at the hirer’s chosen site, a location as near to the site will be offered as an alternative.

With our 4X4 we are able go off-road and, subject to access and suitable terrain, we are able to site the trailer on grass.

When requesting the trailer to go to a business address, hotel, Retail Park or private land, the hirer must provide full address details and a contact name of the person at that site who has given permission for My Little Beauty to attend. Only once My Little Beauty has verified approval can the booking be confirmed at that venue. We can provide a copy of our public and employer liability for the venue on request.

Please note the trailer is 27ft long and 7ft 6” wide, with American right-hand side door opening access. The pick-up truck is 14ft long and 6ft 6” wide. The trailer can be unhitched and sited as a stand-alone vehicle, however please note we will require access nearby to the pick-up truck for power and equipment.

Extreme weather and circumstances out of our control

In extreme weather conditions we will liase closely with the hirer to ascertain the viability of attending the event. If we are unable to attend the event the hirer will be offered alternative dates to choose from. If the hirer declines another date no deposit is refundable.

We cannot be held responsible for delays in attending your event caused by accidents, road closures, traffic jams or any other circumstances out of our control. In such circumstances we will closely liase with the hirer to give an estimated time of arrival, or in extreme situations an alternative date. If the hirer declines another date no deposit is refundable.

Pricing

From time to time My Little Beauty may offer special offers. For all other times our website displays our current pricing structure and individual treatment brochure. In the event of a price rise, all individual beauty treatments booked will be charged at the new price with immediate effect. However all group pamper party bookings that are confirmed with a deposit, will be charged at the rate agreed at the time of booking.

Quotes

All quotes are valid for 30 days.

Please note there is a minimum call-out for children’s parties of £220 for all bookings made within the North East of England. Additional mileage charges may also apply depending on location, based on 40p per mile round-trip to Darlington, Co Durham.

Our adult pamper party packages quoted as “price per adult”; require a minimum number of adults to qualify for this special price. Additional mileage charges may also apply depending on location, based on 40p per mile round-trip to Darlington, Co Durham.

Bespoke adult pamper parties, made up from a range of treatments from our individual treatment brochure, are subject to an additional salon hire charge. The hire charge is based on location / mileage and number of therapists required to staff the booking for the requested treatment time. Please call us to get an individual quotation. There is no reduction in this price for non-attending guests, and the hirer will become liable to pay any shortfall due. Please note treatments can be transferred to another guest subject to approval and available space.

Quotations for bookings outside the North East are subject to our day rates / half day rates. Please call us to discuss your needs.

Deposits

We require a £40 non-refundable deposit to secure all party bookings within the North East of England. Payment can be made by cheque payable to MLB LTD, or by debit or credit card payment over the phone or in person. Any returned cheques will attract an unpaid cheque administration fee of £25. Bookings outside the North East require 50% of the booking fee as a deposit.

Payment

All party balances are due on the date of the event. We have full debit and credit card facilities onboard the trailer.

Payments by cheque. With regret we no longer accept payment by cheque for party balances on the date of the booking. Payment by cheque can only be accepted when paid for in advance, at least 14 working days prior to the booking date.

For children’s parties booked within the North East there is a minimum call-out of £220 even if guest numbers fall below the minimum numbers booked. Additional treatments may be offered to remaining guests as a goodwill gesture to compensate.

Adult pamper parties that are based on an individual quotation are priced accordingly for the entire booking, and there is no reduction for non-attending guests. . Once My Little Beauty is booked, it is advisable to collect the money from each individual guest in advance of the booking date, as the hirer will become liable to pay any shortfall due to non-attending guests. Unclaimed treatments can be transferred to other guests subject to approval and the availability of equipment.

Corporate bookings are invoiced and payable within 7 days of booking date. Bacs details are supplied with all invoices to enable faster payment options. My Little Beauty has the right to add a late payment fee of £25 to all outstanding invoices. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the account is paid in full.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made via a phone-call or e-mail. Messages must clearly state the booking name, date and a contact number so the cancellation can be confirmed back to the hirer. Text messages are unacceptable means of cancellation. All cancellations must give 14 days notice or the remaining balance is payable.

Refunds

Cancellations made six months before the hire date will be reimbursed their deposits in full.

Treatments and products

All beauty products used are subject to availability from the supplier, and may be substituted for an alternative without prior notice. Children’s party bag contents change from time to time, and where possible a similar product to the one advertised will be offered, or an alternative sourced to the same value.

Hospitality and catering

Hot or cold food and drink may be brought onto the trailer by the hirer and consumed inside the trailer. This remains the responsibility of the hirer at all times. Food boxes are provided for children’s parties to minimise the use of plates and glass. A complimentary drinks package is provide with cups and lids to minimise spillages. Additional drinks, including alcohol may be brought onboard.

Health and Safety

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure all guests are escorted safely to and from the trailer. We would ask that any bags, shoes, and party presents are stored safely off the floor and do not cause obstructions. A cloakroom is available for coat storage. We do allow candles to be lit for Birthday cakes but under no circumstances do we allow firecrackers, sparklers, party bombs, and fountain or volcano candles. No pets are allowed onboard.

Damage

If during the hire period, any damage, loss or theft is sustained to any fixtures and fittings, or to the Airstream trailer itself by any guests, attending parents or persons connected to the hirer, the hirer will become liable for that damage, loss or theft and agree to reimburse My Little Beauty for the full cost of said damage or loss.

Behaviour

Please note we do not tolerate any drunken behaviour, fighting, physical or verbal abuse on My Little Beauty. We reserve the right to remove any such person(s) who behave in this manner. Any children who have been cautioned twice to calm down from boisterous, offensive or disruptive behaviour which affects our ability to perform beauty treatments by causing inappropriate rocking, bouncing or wobbling of the trailer will be asked to leave the trailer at the third request. In extreme circumstances if the hirer is unable to control their guests, My Little Beauty reserves the right to end the booking with the full cost due payable by the hirer.

Parental consent

Please note by accepting the invitation to attend a My Little Beauty party you are giving parental consent to have the treatments outlined in our children’s party treatment range.

Allergic reaction

Please inform us prior to the start of any treatments if you have any known allergies or sensitivities. Whilst every effort is taken to source and use age-appropriate, natural, non-toxic products for our clients we recognise that individual sensitivity varies from person to person. If during the course of using our products a reaction occurs we will remove the product immediately and apply cool soothing pads. In the event of continued discomfort we would advise you to contact your GP or health practitioner.
